A revision routine you can actually stick to.
Most revision plans fail for the same reason: they are built for a perfect week that never arrives. A routine that works is smaller, kinder and far more consistent.
Start small and protect the time
Thirty focused minutes a day beats a four-hour cram on Sunday. Pick a regular slot, put the phone in another room and decide before you sit down exactly which topic you will work on.
Practise, don’t just re-read
Highlighting feels productive, but retrieval is what builds memory. Close the book and try a question, write out a method from scratch or explain a concept aloud.
Leave room to breathe
Rest is part of the plan, not a reward for finishing it. Build in one lighter day each week, and the routine will still be standing when exams arrive.
Quick takeaways
- Try past-paper questions on one topic at a time
- Mark your work and note every mistake
- Revisit the hardest topics again a few days later
